Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lbs boneless chicken breasts
  • Two garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Six green onions
  • 6 tbsp chutney
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger root
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • Six naan flatbreads

Instructions

We’ll be using a slow cooker to prepare the meat in this recipe. If you wish to dedicate yourself to learning how to make a good chicken sandwich, you’ll need to get some cooking equipment.

Step 1

Start by preparing the chicken. Add everything else to the slow cooker, set it on low, and cook for 3-4 hours. Leave the bread, onions, and chutney for later.

  • Four slices of Swiss cheese
  • Two bacon strips
  • Four burger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup low-fat mayo
  • 1/2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning

Instructions

Step 1 

Start by preparing the chicken. Pound the meat until it reaches the thickness of 1/2 inches. Sprinkle it with the prepared steak seasoning, and it will be ready for the grill.

Step 2

Put the meat on medium heat and let it cook for about 5 minutes on each side. Add the cheese on top once you have about a minute of cooking time left.

Step 3

Mix the mayo, mustard, and honey in a small bowl.

Grill the buns for a quick minute.

Assemble the sandwich. Spread some mayo mix on the bottom bun, add lettuce, tomatoes, and chicken. On top of the cheese, sprinkle pieces of bacon.

Make them yourself, and you’ll see why we enjoy this recipe so much.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs boneless chicken thighs
  • 12 mini buns
  • 12 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • Two green onions
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Sriracha
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp lime zest
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Red pepper flakes

Instructions

This recipe may be more demanding than the rest on the list. But, if you wish to make the best gourmet chicken sandwich sliders, this is what you’ll have to do.

Step 1

Put the chicken thighs in one tablespoon of olive oil and leave it in a dutch oven for five minutes on medium heat.

Step 2

It’s time to make the sauce. Put together Sriracha, ketchup, 1/2 cup honey, lime juice and zest, ginger, pepper, garlic, and water. Mix it all, pour over the browned chicken, and bring to a boil.

Then, reduce the heat and let everything simmer for the next 25 minutes. Once the chicken is tender, remove it from the heat, and put the sauce back on the stove.

Cook the liquid for another 5 minutes, or until it’s thick.

Step 3

Use two forks to shred the chicken. Then, toss it with reduced sauce.

Step 4

It’s time to put everything together. 

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Place the bottom part of the bun into a greased baking dish. Cut the cheese slices in half and put one piece on each bottom bun.

Put a spoonful of the chicken sandwich fillings onto every slice, and top with the remaining cheese. And, don’t forget to put the top bun in its place to finish the composition.

Step 5

Use the remaining olive oil to create a honey and pepper flakes mixture. Then, brush the top buns. Salt the sandwiches if you prefer.

Step 6

Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes. You’ll be able to tell your meal is finished once the top buns are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Step 7

Make the Sriracha-lime dipping sauce.
